What is “digital” magazine? Digital magazine is not a WEB-SITE with news, articles, photo-galleries, etc. This is a MAGAZINE, it is a “pre-press” file (at the initial period - pdf), as if prepared for printing house, with cover and inner pages. Only… we will not print it! Every reader downloads the file to his PC, laptop or some other modern device and enjoys it: reads, shows to friends, even prints (file quality allows printing, but what for?), etc. If the reader is online, active links work, and you can surf to the web-sites of our contributors, resorts, described in the articles, equipment manufacturers. In the nearest future there will be video-clips and more. But – in the nearest future, our project grows and being developed, according to the reader’s needs… What’s the purpose? Nowadays nearly everyone can, having put a few efforts, create nice internet page, make a blog, and thus “common” people become “journalists”, fixating current events by mobiles and downloading information directly from social web-sites. At the same time there is great demand for professional journalists, reportage- photographers, observers, analysts. Audience look for reliable sources of information, adequate presenting of the events. Demand for true information is very high now, when internet is overloaded with garbage, and real chaos takes place in media field. We were and are professionals in our job and are ready to present professional product. What is the new magazine about? IV digital is a classic divers’s magazine with all imaginable traditional sections (travel, expeditions, dive-history, diving education, u/w art projects, festivals, contests, club-life, underwater sport, photo & video shooting, equipment, extreme, cave diving, technical diving; underwater world and its residents, marine sciences, ecology, medicine and physiology, marine history, commercial diving history. Along with all these we have Personal sections, that are conducted by interesting people, who have something to tell, with individual professional approach and personal view of the situation. And, of cause, all the other themes, that may be interested to the Diver Sapience, who appreciates OCEAN and LIFE. Distribution The magazine is distributed FREE!!! Every person, who wants to see and read it, must just download it! If you want to receive notifications about the newest issue, you can subscribe. Procedure is very simple and requires minimum of obligatory information about subscriber: name or nick-name, and e-mail address, to receive notifications about new issue and direct link for downloading of the issue in pdf. Previous issues will also be available in the archive. We plan 3 issues in 2011: #1 Summer(done), #2 – Autumn, #3 – Winter, and 8-10 issues per year further, aiming to monthly publication.
